
President Cathy Van Maren has lived in La Crosse for decades and has been a bicycle commuter and public transportation fan since childhood. Now retired, she’s working to expand and improve public transportation options locally, regionally, and state-wide. Having visited the Netherlands several times, she understands how a well funded, well planned, integrated and affordable public transportation system can improve the quality of life for everyone.

Vice President Mark Quam is president of the the Chippewa Valley Transit Alliance (CVTA), a local multi-modal public transportation advocacy organization in Eau Claire. An advocate for passenger rail, Mark serves as Secretary/Treasurer for the West Central WI Rail Coalition, Vice-President of the WI Association of Railroad Passengers (WisARP), President for All Aboard WI and a WI Council Rep. for the National Association of Railroad Passengers (RPA). He is also a member of the National Railroad Historical Society (NRHS) and President of the Morrisonville Railroad Depot Preservation Society near Madison.

Secretary/Treasurer Susan De Vos is the president of the Madison Area Bus Advocates (http://www.busadvocates.org), bus riders and friends who want an expanded and improved public transit system throughout Dane County. She sits on WisDOT’s NonDriver Advisory Committee and is an Honorary Associate with the Sociology Dept. of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Jedidiah Moss is vice president and transportation committee chair of the Milwaukee chapter of the National Federation of the Blind. He works for Beyond Vision, a nonprofit manufacturer affiliated with National Industries for the Blind. Moving to Milwaukee from the Upper Peninsula in 2019, he relies on public transit for everything including his daily commute to work. He would like to see a nationwide publicly funded accessible transportation system that enables everyone to live independent lives in their communities.

Frank Ingram advocates for better intercity rail and bus service throughout Wisconsin. That includes the return of passenger rail service to Green Bay. Also on the Board of the WI Association of Railroad Passengers (WisARP), he has been involved in the democratic governance of public transportation since the age of 10.
