Annual Meeting

The 2026 Annual Meeting of the WI Transit Riders Alliance will be held on Sat. March 14th from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in person at the Madison Downtown Public Library in Room 104. A Zoom hybrid option will be offered for anyone wishing to attend virtually. Pre-Registration is required to attend by Zoom. Register at https://tinyurl.com/WTRA2026

The meeting is open to everyone and free of charge. The entire WTRA Annual meeting will run from 10:30 am to 1 pm. Invited guest speakers include WI State Representative Amaad Rivera-Wagner (D-District 90). He will discuss the Realities and Possibilities of Intercity Public Transportation in Wisconsin. A panel discussion will be led by Chris Ott, president of the WI Association of Railroad Passengers (WisARP). He and Gary Goyke of All Aboard Wisconsin (AAWI) will discuss advocating for seamless public transportation in Wisconsin. A question-and-answer period will follow presentations.

The Annual Membership Business part of the meeting begins shortly after Noon and will consist of reports from WTRA Officers, Bylaws update, discussion regarding plans and positions and work plans going forward for 2026.

The agenda and associated documents for the annual business meeting will be updated here once they are finalized.

Any WTRA member who wishes to attend the annual business meeting but can’t attend in person or by Zoom may attend via a proxy. Counting toward quorum, the proxy is only for attendance, not voting. You can download the form in one of several formats:

The form must be signed and dated to be valid. Electronic signatures are fine. There are two ways to return the proxy: 1) attaching the electronic file to an email sent to smdevos@wistransitriders.org; or 2) mailing a printout to WI Transit Riders Alliance; P.O. Box 260156; Madison, WI 53726-0156
